The Lakes and Valleys Art Guild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization organized and led by volunteers dedicated to providing and promoting opportunities in the arts, including exhibitions, educational and outreach programs, and sales. We are committed to advancing excellence in the arts through teaching, scholarships, exhibits, workshops, and special events. We seek to stimulate increased awareness of art and its benefits throughout the Antelope Valley and California.
We give awards to our local artists and scholarships to art students. We use the recycled cans and bottles that you leave at the Gallery to fund these projects. All of your purchases and donations help fill the gap to support the arts in our schools.
We have plenty of volunteer opportunities working in the Gallery or gardens. We also can use help with our operations, so you can always volunteer to be a Board member. Your contributions as a volunteer can be very rewarding to you as well as to us.
We appreciate the support you show us when you buy from our merchants and artists and attend our events.
Come in on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm or on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
We have a Permanent Gallery with works by local artists for sale, as well as the Exhibition Gallery with our current show.
We have over 15 different artisans selling their items, which vary from lavender products to birdhouses to antiques and collectibles, as well as ceramics, bonsai, crystals, pens, and much more!
We have a very active recycling program which accepts all CRV marked containers including cans and glass. Every week we sort it all out and take it to the recycling center. The funds generated go toward the awards we give out at our shows, including our student and juried shows, as well as to the MOAH student show.
